Focaccia with crisps is huge! Baked eggs are delicious with plenty of sourdough. Ice coffee and almond latte were excellent and came quick. View from window seats is lovely. Kid friendly.

Seven of us arrived as walk ins and were fortunately enough we were able to fit into a booth. Between us we ordered a variety of food with the pancakes and granola being a standout. The presentation of these two meals was exceptional. This is how we like our food. The chorizo omelette could’ve benefited from a condiment or two to left the flavours. The smashed avocado would be as you’d expect, being something of a signature dish for many cafes. Multigrain bread with poached eggs and salmon was tasty but the bread a little over toasted. The bagel was good but a lot of money for a basic bagel. Location of this cafe is perfect, on a major corner in MacLeod so plenty of passing traffic. You can dine indoors or out. Dogs welcome. Toilets are available across the road but they aren’t very clean. Fortunately they are being upgraded in 2024. Parking is fairly easy depending on the time you’re here. Kids also welcome with some nice choices for little ones. At $168 it was a little on the expensive side, especially considering the portion sizes. Staff weren’t rushed off their feet but slow to take orders and clean away after we’d finished. But I will return and try again.

We came in a group of 5 and we were seated pretty quickly during a Saturday lunch rush. We ordered a variety of things on the menu and everything came out super good! The pho was fantastic and adds a unique touch to their menu! We tried their newest drink strawberry matcha which was pretty tasty. But our favourite drink was hot Vietnamese milk coffee - I asked for less coffee and more milk and it came out super good! Service was pretty prompt and everything was decently priced for what we got. So we highly recommend this cafe!

I came here with a group of my friends on a cold, chilly Sunday morning and we all had a great time enjoying our brunches along with some of the most delicious Vietnamese coffee! It was in a very convenient location close to the public transportation and across from a nice park with plenty of street parking nearby. The cafe was understandably busy on a weekend but the food came out reasonably fast compared to the cafe’s size and the numbers of customers there. The staff were very friendly and gave us great recommendations on what the best sellers of the cafe were. We each tried a different dish on their menu and every one of them were mind-blowing delicious: - Drinks: We tried the hot Vietnamese black coffee and the hot Vietnamese latte. They were very delicious with a decent sweet flavor from the condense milk and strong coffee aroma. The coffees were a big hit with our group who are known to be big coffee critics! - Food: 1. Pulled pork bagel: pulled pork was literally melting in the mouth with really tasty sauce! They even came with potato chips! 2. Shashuka baked eggs: the tomato flavor really stands out and combines wonderfully with the sourdough that comes with it. It’s packed with powerful flavor in a seemingly light dish! 3. Angus beef burger: good beef patty and really crunchy and well-seasoned fries. 4. Pulled pork benny: the pulled pork was the same in the bagel but I really liked how the eggs were cooked perfectly. 5. Vietnamese stew beef (off menu): We had the chance to meet and talk to the owners who told us that they were thinking of putting this Vietnamese stew beef dish on the menu and asked us to be one of its first taste testers! And oh my, it was so good that I couldn’t stop eating it and all of us were all fighting over the last bite! The beef was well-marinated and slow-cooked for a long time that it literally just melted in my mouth. The broth was very well paired with the lightly toasted bread along with the sliced chilis. Overall, it’s a really delicious dish and it’s so much better than all the stew dishes I’ve tried in the past! The portions here were humongous for how much we paid - we had so much leftover even though we were all big eaters. Overall, I highly recommend this cafe! From the decor to the staff and its owners, we had a great time eating and enjoying our Sunday brunch here and we can’t wait to be back the next time are in town! Thank you Touchstone Cafe for helping us create wonderful memories with delicious food and impeccable service!

Came here for breakfast on Sunday and breakfast was amazing… normally a bit hesitate with ordering something with pulled pork as they tend to lack flavour and be dry although this breakfast was the complete opposite… packed full of flavour and filling enough to not have to order any extras

Good coffee and small brunch menu that manages to offer interesting variety. Plenty of ready prepared sandwiches/ breakfast buns for toasting and little cakes/muffins/pastries on display. They also have a takeaway window on the side of the cafe if you have your doggo with you. Good brunch options. Came back again and they have new owners. The coffee is still good. They have an interesting menu with the usual brunch offerings plus now have Pho soup, which was nice enough but the bean sprouts were missing. Would have been even better if there was the option to order with extra veggies even if this is not the traditional recipe.
